Respite

Special needs families are often strongly regimented by routine and schedule, with often limited time for personal or leisure activities. SHARE offers its families respite nights to provide an opportunity for parents to use however needed - sleep, shop, go on a date, watch a movie. It’s your time to unwind and enjoy a momentary reprieve.

Parent Quest

Support comes in all ways as a SHARE family. Parent Quest offers a monthly support group for parents to connect with other special needs families and gain resource information via Speakers, Zoom Calls, or similar. Childcare is provided.

Sibshop

As a sibling of a special needs brother or sister, life can present a unique set of challenges specific to that sibling. SHARE recognizes this and offer SibShop events curated for siblings of special needs children as a means to meet other siblings, have fun and learn. Available for siblings ages 8-18.

Teens

SHARE understands the complexities of teenage years and those of being a sibling of someone with special needs. Similar to Parent Quest, SHARE teens enjoy group events specific to their age range as means to find support, fellowship among other teen siblings and a safe space. Available for teen siblings ages 13-18.

Mom’s Night Out

SHARE celebrates the role moms play in the life of a special needs child. To help provide some relaxation time, events are offered to our SHARE Moms to meet fellow moms, paint, enjoy a movie, or even relax to some spa time.

Dad’s

Night Out

As a special needs dad, the day to day can be challenging. At SHARE, we recognize this and celebrate dads by also providing events for our SHARE Dads to meet fellow dads, BBQ, play golf or even become CPR certified.
